Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine and Scottish English descent. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish and English. She was the first born of a clan that included six children. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's father. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, when the family moved to Victoria at the time of London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult and she was not able to study English and was hoping to go again to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after switching from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in shows. When she was 16, she quit school to pursue a profession as an actress full time. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actor from a young age. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
