Lucy Liu is an American singer, actress, producer and a singer. Liu is a gorgeous, skilled actress that has inspired numerous Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. In the wake of a number of first performances in popular shows the actress gained notoriety by joining the cast in the series legal comedy Ally McBeal where she played the evil Ling Woo. The fame she gained from the show was translated into movies like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. In the following film, she delivered an outstanding performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii In Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. At the same time, she also took on the lead role in a few films that failed at the box office, such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then started voicing prominent character in animated movies such for Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role as a character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen film, failed to produce satisfactory results.
