Stephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her first role was in Miss Bala (2011), a Mexican crime drama film. She was also seen in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman was seen in Narcos (2015) as in S.W.A.T.(2017) which was the first and second seasons respectively. Sigman was born to the family of a Mexican mother and an American dad, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. Sigman is an U.S. citizen through her father. The father of her, baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman was her mother. She began her career on Mexican television before she made her film debut in Rio de Oro. In 2011 she was cast in the lead role of Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film Miss Bala. The film was nominated as the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8But, it didn't make the final list. In recognition of her film performance, Sigman was nominated in 2011 for the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award. In 2011, she starred as Catalina Aguado, the Canadian documentary film Flight of the Butterflies. In 2013, Sigman co-starred in the Norwegian thriller Pioneer
