Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney was born in Beirut, Lebanon. Her name comes from 'ml, `amal in Arabic that means "hope". Her age was two when her family relocated in Buckinghamshire from Lebanon in the Lebanese Civil War. Ramzi Alamuddin received his MBA at the American University of Beirut. Ramzi Alamuddin was a Lebanese Druze that was from Baakline village, a part of the Alam al-Din dynasty located in Chouf District. After the civil war ended in 1991[12]13] He returned to Lebanon. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother.
